A ampliação e conversão da Rlam(refinaria de petróleo da Bahia) deverá gerar R$ 432,8 milhões em negócios para os fornecedores de bens e serviços da Bahia. A estimativa foi levantada a partir dos encontros promovidos na primeira Rodada de Negócios do setor de Refino no estado, no final de julho. A cifra corresponde a 14% dos R$ 3 bilhões de investimento previstos na refinaria até 2011.
A rodada aproximou as 49 empresas filiadas à RedePetro Bahia às oito empresas âncoras contratadas pela Petrobras para a execução das obras de construção e montagem na refinaria - Consórcio Agtech (Andrade Gutierrez e Techint), Consórcio Alusa/Galvão/Tomé, Construcap, GDK, Progen, Queiroz Galvão, Jpnor e Produman. O evento gerou um total de 262 encontros de negócios
De acordo com a RedePetro Bahia, R$ 30 milhões deverão ser gerados já nos próximos seis meses. As empresas baianas mais demandadas no curto prazo estão nos setores de Engenharia, Calderaria e fornecimento de válvulas.
A ampliação da Rlam prevê a instalação de duas unidades de tratamento de gasolina (HDS), sendo uma com capacidade para a retirada de 5.000 ppm de enxofre e outra para 3.000 ppm. A primeira está prevista para maio de 2010 e a segunda, para junho daquele ano. Está prevista também uma unidade de tratamento de diesel (HDT), pronta em abril de 2011.
Em parceria com o Consórcio Agtech a Purifil Filtros está fornecendo filtros para a RLAM
